Using Turkish Fonts with Windows Mosaic
To see the Turkish character set on your PC, follow these steps:
- If you don't have Turkish fonts installed to MS Windows, you can
get Turkish fonts from
here. Use PKUNZIP to unzip the file. Read
readme.tur or readme.eng for the installation instructions.
- Run Windows Mosaic.
- Select Choose Font... from Options menu. Select Preformatted from
the list. Change this font to Turkish Courier New in the fonts
dialog box.
Using Turkish Fonts with Netscape
- Be sure that you have Turkish fonts on your PC (See above.).
- Run Netscape.
- Select Options | Preferences from the menu bar.
- Select Fonts and Colors from the Set Preferences On list box .
- To change the proportional font press Choose Font... button and
select a Turkish font in the system.
- To change the fixed font you should edit netscape.ini file found in
the netscape directory. You can use notepad editor of MS
Windows to edit the file. Change Fixed Family in the [Fonts] section
of the netscape.ini.
